With the semester shortly underway events have already taken place exhibiting this renewed commitment. Officer Hawkins of the GTPD came and educated the chapter of the importance of responsible partying while he also addressed many of the brothers concerns with recent policy changes enacted by the police department. A date night marked the first event of the semester on the social calendar where in a tradition of trying new things brothers were accompanied by their dates to a tapas bar in midtown followed by an improv act at Relapse Theatre. Of most recent the
brothers enjoyed a guy’s night where the majority participated in a poker tournament and hung out for the night. In this short beginning of what is sure to be a busy semester you can surely identify the recommitment to our founding principles. More events of this nature are already in the works and will be implemented throughout the semester. Our dedication to excellence extends into the Greek community where we currently field intramural teams in all of the fraternity leagues and lead the rankings in soccer and racquetball. Along with our Co-Rec basketball and soccer teams which are undefeated. Finally preparation for Greek Week is well underway with tug practices three weeks in and the Greek Sing script near finished. The brotherhood is looking to best their three consecutive third place finishes.
